With over 33 years of experience helping clients through difficult times in their life with the use of counseling and Jungian Psychotherapy, Brian Collinson, Registered Psychotherapist knows how to treat clients by reaching the deep cores of the collective unconscious. Brian serves clients in Mississauga and Oakville. Brian is a Jungian analyst, counselor and psychotherapist with over 300 hours of clinical supervision, two Masters degrees and a host of professional association memberships. Brian Collinson holds a Masters degree from the University of Toronto in social science, a Masters degree from the University of Western Ontario in counseling and a graduate of the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts (OAJA) Training Program.
Brian is a recognized professional and member of the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts (OAJA) and a clinical member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists. Brian completed two internships, one for clinical internship and practicum training, and the other in mental health and addiction care. In addition to completing internships at Toronto Western Hospital and Homewood Health Centre in Guelph, Ontario, Brian has additional post-masters work with the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy out of Toronto in psychoanalytic studies and group work. He brings a combination of counseling, psychotherapy and business experience in order to ensure the most effective treatment for his clients. He has served in government relations, consulting, and as a Barrister and Solicitor with a J.D. degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
