Today, Fortigo Freight Services Inc. is one of the leaders in the Canadian trucking industry, but it really began back in 1975 with another trucking firm called Fairway Canadian Express. This company provided domestic trucking services, flatbed services, cross-border services and more. This business had a 15-year partnership with Watkins Motor Lines that lasted up until 2004. This is when Watkins purchased Fairway Canadian Express. In 2006, Watkins sold Fairway Canadian Express to FedEx.

In the midst of all the wheeling and dealing, high quality trucking services continued and a new company known as Fortigo Freight Services Inc. was born. Their specialty is fleet outsourcing and they take care of the freight needs for many different companies.
