The company combined with Cintas Shredding in 2014 and maintained the Shred-it name. The Shred-it head office is in Cincinnati, Ohio and the headquarters are in Oakville, Ontario. Shred-it has more than one hundred and seventy service centers in North America and around the world, including here in South Africa. It services more than 300,000 customers each year.

With a collection of 2000 trucks, Shred-it employs over 5000 associates. The company specializes in mobile off-site and on-site free from doubt paper destruction and waste disposal. In addition, they offer secure destruction of information storage devices such as hard drives and other types of media.
